PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES:

He is a frequent author and lecturer on corporate, tax and ethics issues. Mr. Sparkman currently co-chairs the Duties of Directors and Officers and Conflicts of Interest subcommittee of the Colorado Business Corporation Act Committee, which is undertaking a comprehensive comparison of the CBCA with current provisions of the Revised Model Business Corporation Act. Mr. Sparkman is the Colorado reporter for STATE LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY & PARTNERSHIP LAWS (Aspen Publishers) and STATE LIMITED PARTNERSHIP LAWS (Aspen Publishers). Mr. Sparkman was a participating member of the Colorado Bar Association drafting committees that prepared the text various statutes regarding the Colorado Limited Liability Company Act (amendments 2002-2007), The Colorado Revised Nonprofit Corporation Act (1997), The Colorado Corporations and Associations Act (amendments 2003-2008) and other House Bills in regards to various Colorado Revised Statutes. He was also an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Denver College of Law.
